Philadelphia Eagles at Indianapolis Colts

Even though the Philadelphia Eagles should beat the Indianapolis Colts with no issues, this game is all about beating Matt Ryan, who will be their starter. Carson Wentz was the primary target for getting excited about this game, but beating Ryan would be much more satisfying.

The Eagles haven’t visited Indy since 2014, so this game will be highly anticipated and Philadelphia needs to put the hammer down and expose the Colts defense. Seeing the Eagles’ defense sack Ryan multiple times will be extremely nice, at least from this writer’s perspective.

Philadelphia hasn’t lost to the Colts since 2006, and 2022 should be no different, but we included this as a must-win game. Unless something drastic happens, there is no reason to travel to Indianapolis and get a loss. This game should already have a ‘W’ penciled in beside it, but the Eagles still need to focus.

It’s a must-win because it gives Philadelphia another win in that column and provides the team with confidence. Ryan isn’t going to transform this offense enough to beat the Eagles. There is a lot more wrong with the Colts than quarterback play.

If Jalen Hurts and company get into a rhythm, it’s over for the Colts early, but it’s still one to win because it’s supposed to happen.
