The NBA playoffs are currently in the second round, and, the Lakers were not part of the 16-team cut. They finished in 11th-place in the Western Conference, failing to qualify for the play-in tournament. That comes after they went all-in on this season by acquiring Russell Westbrook after being eliminated by the Phoenix Suns in the first round the year prior.
After the regular-season reached its conclusion, the team fired head coach Frank Vogel two years following the team winning their 17th NBA championship. Now, they are searching for their new head coach, with Phil Jackson helping out.
All LeBron wanted to do was congratulate Liverpool on winning the F.A. Cup. That then opened up the floodgates of Lakers haters to post trolling messages in the replies.
