Ryan (Denton, TX). Anthony Hill. 2. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 829. LB. player

Alabama will certainly have a use for Anthony Hill in its deep linebacking corps

Not to say Alabama is LBU, but the Crimson Tide have developed more than their fair share of linebackers over the years under Saban’s watch. One player the Crimson Tide could be interested in during this cycle is Anthony Hill out of Denton. The Ryan High School star is the No. 1 linebacker in the country in his class, the No. 2 player from Texas and the No. 13 overall prospect nationally.

Hill currently has 33 official offers, but is looking predominantly at these five schools: Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M and USC. He has official visits lined up with every school besides Texas A&M in that quintet. While they are potentially getting the fifth, this leaves open the door for Alabama to sneak in and land the best linebacker prospect hailing from a bitter rival’s state.

Though a few projections have Hill ending up College Station, having Crimson Tide defensive coordinator Pete Golding as his recruiter is a huge boost here. He would be his position coach, too. Alabama gets Hill to Tuscaloosa for his official visit on June 10, which is second of the four schools who have official dates set with him. How that weekend goes could decide his 2023 commitment.

Hill’s interest is all over the place, meaning there are no guarantees he will be going to Texas A&M.
