Dodgers pitcher Tyler Anderson drops F-bomb on hot mic after walking Jose Abreu

After walking Chicago White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Tyler Anderson dropped a massive F-bomb that was caught on the broadcast.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox split the first two games of their three-game series this week. It all came down to their afternoon game on Thursday, June 9, and the Dodgers sent Tyler Anderson to the mound. And let’s just say he was passionate in the game.

In the bottom of the fourth inning, Anderson had a full count on White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu. The final pitch of his at-bat, an 88-mph cutter, went for a ball on the inside, allowing Abreu to walk. Once the pitch made contact with catcher Austin Barnes’ glove, Anderson dropped a huge F-bomb that was caught on the broadcast.

Things did not get any better for Anderson, as he surrendered a single to Jake Burger and a ground-rule double by AJ Pollock, the latter of which helped knock in Abreu to extend Chicago’s lead to 2-0. Anderson then walked Yasmani Grandal, where he was eventually pulled from the game and replaced by Brusdar Graterol.

The White Sox would score two more runs after Graterol hit Adam Engel with a pitch and allowed a sacrifice fly by Josh Harrison, giving them a 4-0 lead.

Anderson’s day ended after three full innings of work, where he was credited for four earned runs. He struck out two batters and walked three.

It was not a great day on the mound for Anderson, and the F-bomb was proof of that.
