3. LIV Golf’s Brooks Koepka could win The Open Championship.

Brooks Koepka has dumped the PGA Tour for LIV Golf, and represents one of the biggest coups for Greg Norman’s upstart. Koepka withdrew from this week’s Travelers Championship and will likely head to Portland, Oregon next week to compete at Pumpkin Ridge.

Koepka has four major championship trophies and he’ll be looking to add another when the Florida State alum heads overseas to play in his eighth British Open. Koepka has finished in the Top 10 on four occasions, including a tie for 10th-place when the tournament was held at St. Andrew’s back in 2015.

Brooks Koepka is built for these major moments. While he’s yet to take home The Open Championship trophy, the 32-year-old is a threat to win each time he steps into the tee box. Koepka has 15 professional wins and was ranked No. 1 in the world back in 2018; a title he held for 47 weeks.

Koepka missed the cut at The Masters and finished outside the Top 50 in the previous two majors. Last year at Royal St. George’s, Koepka shot 2 over-par on Saturday, which took him out of contention despite a 5-under 65 on Sunday. Koepka finished tied for 6th.
