5 free agency destinations for Aaron Judge: Minnesota Twins

Here’s an interesting landing spot for Judge: the Minnesota Twins.

Minnesota already landed a big fish recently in former Astro Carlos Correa as they geared up to make a run at an AL Central title in 2022. So far so good for the Twins in that pursuit. But could they pair Correa with Aaron Judge to signal their intention to go for it all in 2023 as well? It’s at least possible.

By giving Correa $105 million over three years, the Twins proved to us that they have what it takes financially to be able to afford big-name talent. And with Byron Buxton patrolling center field, Judge could take back his natural position of right field, while being capable of filling in center field should the oft-injured Buxton miss any time.

The lack of market size in Minnesota may be unappealing to Judge, but they lured Correa up north, so anything is possible. And if Judge could be the one to help the Twins end their playoff series losing streak to the Yankees? What a storyline that would be.
