Another bombshell report from the Wall Street Journal determined that Vince McMahon paid four women $12 million in hush money over sexual misconduct allegations.

Back in June, the Wall Street Journal dropped a bombshell report that then-WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had an affair with a former employee and paid them in hush money. McMahon then stepped aside as chairman and CEO as the company investigated the allegations.

On July 7, the Wall Street Journal (subscription required) published another report, detailing that McMahon had agreed to pay a total of $12 million to four women over the past 16 years to “suppress allegations of sexual misconduct and infidelity.” The four women signed agreements that prevented them from “discussing potential legal claims against or their relationships” with McMahon.

According to the report, McMahon paid a former female wrestler $7.5 million, who claimed that McMahon had “coerced her into giving him oral sex.” The female wrestler also claimed that after she resisted further sexual encounters with McMahon, she was demoted and eventually did not have her contract renewed in 2005.

A former WWE contractor approached the company in 2008, presenting them with “unsolicited nude photos” that she had received from McMahon. The contractor also claimed that she was sexually harassed on the job. McMahon agreed to pay her around $1 million, per the report.

In 2006, a former manager alleged that McMahon had initiated a sexual relationship with her. The manager was paid $1 million to keep quiet about it, per the report.

Following the previous report from the Wall Street Journal, McMahon agreed to step aside during the company’s investigation, but would still keep his creative content responsibilities. His daughter, Stephanie McMahon, is currently the interim Chairwoman and CEO of WWE.

McMahon has made a variety of on-screen appearances on the Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown programs following the previous report.
