Yankees: 3 prospects New York would have to sell in Juan Soto trade

Juan Soto rumors: Yankees could trade Jasson Dominguez
Dominguez was one of the most hyped international prospects ever, and for good reasons. He received Mike Trout comparisons.
Since then, Dominguez has had some struggles in the Yanks’ system, as most young players do while they’re earning their stripes. This has caused experts to reel in expectations slightly, which places him firmly behind Volpe and Peraza in the Yankees’ system.
Dominguez is playing in Low-A and has an estimated debut date of 2024, for now. He’s just 19 years old, so that shouldn’t be surprising. The Nationals should insist on Dominguez being included in any deal for Soto, though it remains to be seen if New York would balk at that demand. The 19-year-old would likely fit Washington’s ideal competitive window without Soto.
The long-term issue with Dominguez appears to be conditioning, as MLB Pipeline outlines:
"“Dominguez received some plus-plus speed grades from scouts when he signed but he has slowed down since getting considerably thicker, and there are some questions as to exactly how fast and athletic he’ll be in the long run. He still has solid speed but will have to maintain his conditioning in order to remain in center field. With solid-to-plus arm strength, not to mention his offensive upside, he also profiles well in right field.”"
This is not to say, however, that he doesn’t have a ton of potential. Perhaps the most power-plus player in the minors right now for his age, Dominguez would be a must-add for any trade package surrounding Soto, at least at this point. Soto won’t be a free agent until he’s 26.
