Red Sox trade rumors: Colorado Rockies SP Chad Kuhl

Unlike Castillo and Pérez, Colorado Rockies SP Chad Kuhl is not an All-Star this year but he is still having a good season.

In his first season with the Rockies, Kuhl has a record of 6-5 with a 4.11 ERA in 17 starts. That amounts to a 114 ERA+ with a 4.46 FIP. He also has a 1.402 WHIP and an average of 3.6 walks and 6.4 strikeouts per nine innings.

He would be the cheapest option among the three as he is just on a one-year deal for $3 million. However, Colorado is weighing keeping him. After having a hard time finding good pitching at Coors Field for the better part of 30 years, Kuhl and a few of their other starting pitchers have actually been better at Coors Field than on the road.

In eight starts at Coors Field in 2022, Kuhl has a 3.52 ERA with a .249/.293/.384 slash line against him.
