3 White Sox who won’t be on the roster past the Trade Deadline

The White Sox need to trade Lenyn Sosa, a top prospect for help
The White Sox are clearly trying to win now. Due to that, their farm system is one of the absolute worst in the MLB since most of their talent has either graduated to the MLB or been traded. They do have one player that plenty of other teams would and he’s even had a cup of coffee in the MLB.
Lenyn Sosa is a second baseman who’s only 22 years old. He appeared in four games with the White Sox earlier this year but only had one hit in 12 at-bats. While he could be their heir to the woeful 2nd base job held by Leury and Harrison, the Sox might be better off trading him.
Sosa has been tearing up the minor leagues despite being on average 4 years younger than his competition. In Double-A, he hit .331 with 10 doubles, 14 HR, 48 RBI, and a 21-40 walk-to-K ratio over only 62 games. That garnered a quick promotion to Triple-A where he is hitting .262 with four doubles over 15 games. Although it’s a small sample size, he has struck out 14 times compared to only three walks.
Despite his minor struggles, plenty of other teams would gladly want to trade for Sosa. This makes him a valuable commodity to use to improve other areas of their team like in the outfield, an established MLB infielder, or a reliable starter. If the White Sox truly want to win this year or the next, they should trade Lenyn Sosa. He’s one of their best trade chips.
