MLB monster series: Astros at Braves August 19-21

Games between the Houston Astros and Atlanta Braves aren’t as common as they used to be. With the Astros now in the American League for a few years, we had to wait for the rare interleague matchup. This changes next season with a more balanced MLB schedule. Why wait until then? Go out and see this monster MLB series when it happens.

The Astros visit the Braves from August 19-21 for a late-season World Series rematch. The Braves came away as the winners back in October 2021. Will the Astros have an edge in the regular season?

There is no telling what kind of excitement this series will bring or even where these clubs will be in the standings. The Astros do have to remain concerned about the Yankees. The Braves will have already gone through some battling against the Mets.

What’s not to love about this series? The Astros and Braves each have veterans and young players in their cores. Each has dreams of facing off against each other yet again in the postseason. With Justin Verlander available for the Astros this time and Austin Riley hoping to finish the year with even better numbers than he had in 2021, look for a playoff-like atmosphere down in Georgia for these three days.
