Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. QB. player. Alabama Crimson Tide. Bryce Young. 2. 829

Like his team did a year ago, this Heisman Trophy winner finds himself at No. 2

Bryce Young may be the first Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback in Alabama football history, but it is going to be so incredibly difficult for him to repeat. If he does, and channels his inner Archie Griffin in the process, Young may go down as the greatest college quarterback ever. Of course, he would rather win a national championship above all else before turning pro in 2023.

Young may be undersized, but he is a lock to go inside of the top five in next spring’s NFL Draft. He may not be the first quarterback taken, but odds are, he will be some bad NFC team’s franchise guy for the foreseeable future going forward. If he keeps balling out in Atlanta, he could end up playing in Uncle Arthur’s Spaceship for the Dirty Birds if Desmond Ridder is not the guy for them.

Of all the great quarterbacks to play for Nick Saban, Young has the potential to be the very best.

Scouting Report. C.J. Stroud. 1. 812. Pick Analysis. QB. Ohio State Buckeyes. player

Will C.J. Stroud make all of Ohio proud by being the best Buckeye QB to ever live?

Not to say Ohio State is beating Alabama in the national championship, but anything short of a national title bout appearance will be met with great disappointment for Buckeyes fans everywhere. While the defense remains a work in progress, Ryan Day has arguably the best offense in all of college football, headlined by Heisman Trophy finalist quarterback C.J. Stroud.

Though Young won the Heisman a year ago, Stroud has to be the preseason favorite to win it because repeating is so difficult. Plus, Young may split votes with teammate Will Anderson Jr. Regardless, Stroud showed last year that he can make all the throws, stand tall in the pocket and deliver strikes downfield to a bevy of receivers. This is why he is possibly going No. 1 next spring.

Size, weapons and an offensive-minded are three things working for Stroud ahead of his big year.
