1. Eagles sweep Cowboys, win NFC East

Unless you were the Dallas Cowboys, facing a division rival in 2021 wasn’t a whole lot of fun. Mike McCarthy’s team finished a perfect 6-0 vs. their NFC East rivals and combined to outscore the Eagles, Washington and the Giants by a 204-107 count. Meanwhile, those other three teams managed a combined 6-12 mark versus divisional competition this past season.

A season ago, the Cowboys defeated Philadelphia in Week 3 at Dallas (41-21) and then rolled the undermanned Eagles in Philadelphia in Week 18 by a 51-26 count. All told, the Cowboys own a 13-7 record in this series the past ten seasons. And in the team’s last three meetings, the Eagles have been doubled up on the scoreboard by a combined 129-64 score.

The Eagles last won the NFC East in 2019, which is obviously not too long ago. But you have to go back to 2011 to the last time Philadelphia swept their divisional rivals from “Big D.” It also says here that Nick Sirianni’s squad will win at least 11 games, marking the first time since the club’s Super Bowl season of 2017 that the Birds will finish with double digits in the win column.
