Wide Receiver 1: Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings ($7,800)

Justin Jefferson was ridiculous last year. He would have finished as the overall WR1 any other year, but it just so happened to be when Cooper Kupp put up nearly 2,000 receiving yards. This year, a lot of analysts have him finishing as the WR1 this year, due to his upgraded offensive staff.

In what will be a competitive game against Green Bay, Jefferson will likely have a big day as Cousins & Co. will need to be firing on all cylinders on offense to win. He’s a safe bet for top-five numbers this week.

Wide Receiver 2: DJ Moore, Carolina Panthers ($6,000)

It’s hard to find a more consistent receiver than DJ Moore. He’s been a sturdy WR2 in fantasy lineups for several years now, and that’s unlikely to change with an upgrade at quarterback in Baker Mayfield.

Moore’s especially more valuable in PPR leagues, which is why I love his value here to pair with Jefferson. Jefferson will score his points with touchdowns and big gains, while Moore will chip away all game being the reliable target that he is.

Wide Receiver 3: Michael Pittman Jr. ($5,500)

I was ecstatic to be able to get Michael Pittman Jr. in our lineup as our third receiver. I think he’s on the shortlist to be this year’s fantasy breakout star. Rave reviews have been coming out of Colts camp, as many have said he’s primed to break out with new quarterback Matt Ryan.

Let’s bank on that potential being realized as early as Week 1 and go with the Colts’ top target against a weak Houston secondary. Our receiving group has a very safe floor.
