2. Rams need Odell Beckham Jr. for down the stretch

The Rams had some turnover on the offense, as they signed former Chicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson and in turn, traded Robert Woods to the Tennessee Titans. Los Angeles looked like they were going to run with Cooper Kupp, Van Jefferson, and Robinson to start the season.

However, the Rams received word that Jefferson could be out multiple games due to a knee issue. His absence was felt, as Stafford targeted Kupp a team-leading 15 times. Following Kupp was tight end Tyler Higbee with 11. As for Robinson? Just two targets.

It is quite obvious that the Rams once great strength of wide receiver depth has become a weakness. The team could stand to add a wide receiver for down the stretch. Specifically Odell Beckham Jr.

Beckham was signed by the Rams in the middle of last season, and he helped the team win Super Bowl 56. However, he tore his ACL in that game, and is not expected to be ready until November. Even so, the Rams should get him under contract, considering he did thrive in Sean McVay’s offense, especially in the team’s playoff run.
