2. Micah Parsons will force a Bengals turnover

The biggest reason why the Bengals couldn’t overcome their division rivals last week was the six turnovers Joe Burrow committed on the afternoon. Parsons is a defensive player who lights up when he hears about a quarterback that struggles with ball security.

That’s why the former Penn State standout is a great bet to force a turnover this week. The most likely avenue for such a play would be for him to get a strip sack. The struggles Cincinnati suffered from on their offensive line last week should give him several chances to hit Burrow from the blind side.

The fact that Burrow also tossed four interceptions on the afternoon means Parsons also has a chance to force a turnover when he drops into coverage. The Cowboys don’t ask him to do that all that often, but he could find himself matched up one-on-one against Joe Mixon a handful of times in this game.

Don’t rule out the idea that Parsons can jump one of those routes and make a big play for his team. The Cowboys need to win the turnover battle if they want to score an improbable win in Week 2. Parsons is their best chance of turning that plan into a reality.
