RB1: Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns ($7,100)

Lost in the Baker Mayfield revenge game hype, and Browns’ rookie kicker Cade York’s game-winning 58-yard field goal was running back Nick Chubb’s 22-rush, 141-yard game on Sunday. It was perhaps the quietest dominant performance of the week, even with Kareem Hunt scoring two touchdowns.

Chubb will always have the threat of Hunt taking work from him, but last week proved they can both be fantasy studs, especially while the Browns have to rely on their run game more with Jacoby Brissett at the helm. Expect another dominant day for Chubb as the Browns face the Jets, who look as bad as they have been.

RB2: Cordarrelle Patterson, Atlanta Falcons ($6,000)

Many around fantasy circles were skeptical that Cordarrelle Patterson could repeat last year’s surprise breakout, especially due to the addition of Damien Williams and the drafting of Tyler Allgeier. Well, Williams went out hurt and Allgeier was a healthy scratch, and Patterson ran 22 times for 120 yards and a touchdown — picking up where he left off.

Patterson again looks like a stud, and he has the Rams on tap this week, who did not look great in any aspect on the field. Patterson has a clear path to work, both in the running and passing game, and he’ll be a safe floor play for us this week.
