Aaron Rodgers improvements: Get rid of the ball quicker

Green Bay’s offensive line wasn’t at its best last week. They’re still awaiting the return of David Bakhtiari, among others. It’s led to some unfamiliarity up front and, as a result, No. 12 being under a constant barrage of pressure.

So, what is Rodgers to do?

The easy solution is to look for more hot routes, and quick outlets. This puts less pressure on Rodgers to extend plays when it’s nearly impossible to do so, and should give his wide receivers room to work with.

Against Minnesota, the Packers offensive line was tormented by Za’Darius Smith. Green Bay gave up four sacks, and Rodgers turned the ball over twice thanks to an interception and a fumble. The only way the Bears will stay in this game on Sunday is if Green Bay turns the ball over. It’ll provide Justin Fields and Co. with a short field and add some belief that perhaps they really can upset the NFC North giants.

Turnovers, especially for a quarterback as experienced as Rodgers, are unacceptable. He knows that, and he’ll be better prepared to use his resources on Sunday.
