1. Top Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 3 – New York Jets WR Garrett Wilson

Talent rises to the top in the NFL, even if said talent is on a bad team. The best example of this in Week 2 came in Cleveland where Jets’ rookie Garrett Wilson had his coming-out party against the Browns.

Lightly used in Week 1 due to an odd gameplan, the Jets got Wilson on the field far more often against Cleveland in Week 2. The 10th pick in the 2022 draft responded nicely by catching 8-of-14 targets for 102 yards and two scores, including the game-winner in the final seconds for New York.

Wilson flashed incredible route-running skills and agility this week, traits that should make him the featured player in the New York passing attack. The target volume is also extremely enticing with Wilson, who was targeted eight times last week and may have surpassed Elijah Moore and Corey Davis as New York’s top receiver.

Wilson entered Week 2 rostered in only 20 percent of Yahoo leagues, a rate that should dramatically rise after his breakout showing. The return of Zach Wilson in the coming weeks should also raise the ceiling of the Jets’ offense, which has been limited in what they can call with Joe Flacco under center, making Williams a flex option right now with the potential for weekly WR3 production once his quarterback is healthy.
