Undefeated teams in the ACC

  • No. 5 Clemson Tigers (at Wake Forest)
  • No. 12 NC State Wolfpack (vs. UConn)
  • No. 21 Wake Forest Demon Deacons (vs. Clemson)
  • Duke Blue Devils (at Kansas)
  • Florida State Seminoles (vs. Boston College)
  • North Carolina Tar Heels (vs. Notre Dame)
  • Syracuse Orange (vs. Virginia)

The biggest game in the ACC this weekend is Clemson at Wake Forest, which means one of those teams will suffer their first loss of the season. The Tigers have not looked impressive all season but the Demon Deacons are coming off a narrow win over Liberty.

The oddsmakers have the Tigers favored. Home field advantage belongs to Wake.

If the season had gone anything close to as planned, North Carolina would be the next undefeated in danger but Notre Dame is an absolute mess and the Tar Heels should be able to get one over on them at home.

Duke and Kansas are both undefeated. Even though College GameDay spurned the matchup, there will be plenty of eyes on this one. Kansas being at home is likely the Blue Devils’ downfall.

Florida State looks likely to move to 4-0 against a struggling Boston College while Syracuse has an edge over Virginia. NC State shouldn’t have an issue with UConn.

Predicted losers: Clemson and Duke
