player. 30. . OT. New York Jets. Zion Nelson. 19

The New York Jets are getting surprisingly great play from veteran Joe Flacco this season, begging the question if Zach Wilson should start once healthy. The answer is yes, as he is the future, and you have to find out what you have for the long haul, not just this year.

Looking ahead, you cannot rely on Mekhi Becton, so an offensive tackle in the first round makes sense. Zion Nelson is a tremendous blocker, and a powerful, athletic offensive lineman, and should find himself in the first round next April.

. LB. Detroit Lions. Noah Sewell. 20. player. 50

The Detroit Lions hold two first-round picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, and after adding a defensive back early on, they continue to stack defensive talent here. The player is a familiar one, as Noah Sewell is the brother of offensive lineman Penei Sewell, who they took in the first round a few years back.

The Sewell brothers would be a part of the rebuild in Detroit, something that seems well underway through two games this season. Defense is how the Lions are going to beat the rest of the NFC North, and with Sewell and Porter Jr., they get two elite prospects.
