15. player. 58. . QB. Washington Commanders. Anthony Richardson

The Washington Commanders looked to Carson Wentz to help change their fortunes this offseason, and unfortunately, he looked a lot like the guy playing for the Indianapolis Colts late in the 2021 season in Week 2. The truth is, he is not a quarterback you can rely on on anymore, which means the Commanders could be in the market for a signal-caller in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Enter Anthony Richardson from the University of Florida, a dynamic playmaker who has terrific downfield vision and a strong throwing arm. The Commanders are a few pieces away from being players in an open NFC East, and Richardson could be a final piece of the puzzle.

Michael Mayer. 16. player. 47. . TE. New England Patriots

The New England Patriots pulled off a strong victory against Pittsburgh this past weekend, though they go into Week 3 at 1-1 after a bad loss to Miami in Week 1. The Patriots are going to be an interesting team this season, as they have some solid playmakers, but the talent has dipped from their dominant AFC East days.

Picking in the middle of the first round, the Patriots get themselves a new franchise tight end in Notre Dame star Michael Mayer. Mayer has been nicknamed “Baby Gronk,” and the hope for Bill Belichick and company is that he can be just that.
