Orlando Magic: Terrence Ross, 5.5 years

At the 2016-17 trade deadline, the Magic traded Serge Ibaka to the Toronto Raptors for Terrence Ross and a first-round pick. Ibaka would win a ring with the Raptors two years later, and three years later, Frank Vogel (the Magic head coach from 2016-2018) would win a ring with the Lakers in the Orlando Bubble.

T-Ross would pick up a fellow Magic mainstay in each subsequent season: Jonathan Isaac in 2017-18, Mo Bamba in 2018-19 and Markelle Fultz in 2019-20. And he had a great send-off when previous Magic mainstays Vooch, Fournier and Aaron Gordon were shipped out at the 2021 trade deadline, tweeting out the “I’m the captain now” gif from Tom Hanks’ Captain Phillips.

T-Ross is entering the final year of his current contract.
