Head Coach. Jacksonville Jaguars. Doug Pederson. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 52. 2

Doug Pederson has already won a Super Bowl as a player and as a head coach

Of the 10 head-coaching hires made last offseason, one could argue the Jacksonville Jaguars made the best by getting former Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl-winning head coach Doug Pederson to come down to Duval County. While it remains to be seen if Duval Doug and the boys will win the AFC South, the 2022 Jaguars are so much better of a football team than last season.

Despite winning a Super Bowl as a head coach in Philadelphia and as Brett Favre’s backup with the Green Bay Packers as a player, Pederson is relatively egoless. He elevates the play of his quarterbacks and puts his offense in positions to succeed. What makes passing on him even more damning for the Broncos was Pederson was out of work for a year and they could not reel him in.

Trevor Lawrence is in great hands in Jacksonville, while Wilson and Hackett seem way out of sorts.

Brian Daboll. player. Pick Analysis. 1. 31. Scouting Report. Head Coach. New York Giants

Brian Daboll was the best first-time head coaching candidate last hiring cycle

Every offseason, it presents itself. There is one potential first-time, head-coaching candidate out there who is the one everybody wants. It took a few years for people to understand how good of an offensive mind Brian Daboll had become. The New York Giants were able to pry him away from a spectacular coaching situation with the Buffalo Bills this offseason. Denver could have had him…

Even though the Giants are far less talented than the Broncos, they are 3-1 through their first four games. New York may play in a weaker division than Denver, but Daboll has his guys believing in him and playing hard. The stage does not feel too big for him. As far as Hackett is concerned, we will never forget him asking Brandon McManus to attempt a zany 64-yard field goal vs. Seattle…

Daboll is winning games with Daniel Jones, so you can only imagine what he could do with Wilson.
