Projected AP Top 25 college football rankings after Week 4: No. 12-11

12. Oregon Ducks

Oregon was in action late on Saturday night against Stanford, a team that didn’t give them too much trouble as expected.

The Ducks will have an opportunity to really raise their status in a few weeks with newly-ranked UCLA coming to town. Until then their goal is to beat the weak teams well and that’s what they did with ease against Stanford.

11. Utah Utes

Remember how Utah lost to Florida to start the season and everyone wrote them off as the power in the Pac-12? Yeah, the Utes took that personally and have now made it their mission to steamroll through the conference.

Their latest victim was a good Oregon State team who just took USC to the edge of an upset. Utah picked off starting quarterback Chance Nolan twice, then grabbed two more interceptions from his replacement Ben Gulbranson just for fun.

Quarterback Cam Rising was at his best with three passing touchdowns and a score on the ground.
