WR. Pittsburgh Steelers. Jaxon Smith-Njigba. 5. player. 55.

Well, that did not take long, as the Pittsburgh Steelers have already turned the page on starting quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. The franchise took Pitt star Kenny Pickett in the first round in 2022, and only four games into the season, they have turned to him to lead this franchise moving forward.

Picking at No. 5 overall, the Steelers need some help at the wide receiver spot, and they get the best player at his position group in Jaxon Smith-Njigba. This is a kid who is going to be a star at the next level and gives Pickett a tremendous option to go alongside another good young wideout in George Pickens.

47. . CB. New England Patriots. Kelee Ringo. 6. player

The New England Patriots have some real issues at quarterback right now, as Mac Jones is hurt for a few weeks, and his backup, Brian Hoyer suffered a concussion this past weekend. That mean Bailey Zappe had to go in as a rookie, so keep an eye on how they weather this storm moving forward.

At pick No. 6 overall, the Patriots have to address their secondary, and they do so by adding one of the premier cornerbacks in the draft class in Kelee Ringo. He has the potential to be a shutdown cornerback from Day 1 at the next level, filling an immediate need in the Patriots’ defensive backfield.
