10 RB sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 5
Running back sleepers for fantasy football Week 5: Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins
After hardly seeing any action in Week 1, Raheem Mostert has come into his own as the Dolphins’ lead back. He’s had 14, 8, and 17 touches in his last three games and he passes the eye test as well. Though he splits work with Chase Edmonds, he looks to be the superior runner for now.
Mostert gets a dream matchup against the New York Jets, who are in the bottom half of the league in fantasy points allowed to running backs. The Dolphins are also without Tua Tagovailoa, so they should be relying on the ground. Put Mostert in your lineups this week.
Running back sleepers for fantasy football Week 5: Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons
Though we talked about Caleb Huntley as a sleeper option, Tyler Allgeier likely has more upside. He led all Falcons’ running backs in snaps last week, and he should garner an even larger share with Cordarrelle Patterson being placed on injured reserve.
Allgeier is a sneaky flex play this week even against a stout Tampa Bay run defense. The Falcons led a run-heavy charge last week against the Cleveland Browns and could do the same this week. Volume alone makes Allgeier an interesting play this week and a solid DFS selection.
