After an end to the regular season where Philadelphia played its final nine regular-season games on the road, the Phillies are assured of hosting their first postseason game in more than a decade in Game 3 of the NLDS on Friday. It will be the first home games for the Philadelphia Phillies since splitting a four-game series with Atlanta (Philadelphia and Atlanta split the 10 games played at Citizens Bank Park in 2022), and should provide plenty of home-field advantage with Philadelphia’s postseason-starved crowd in attendance.
“They haven’t got to see postseason baseball in a long time, obviously. So we’re excited for the fans, excited for the city, excited for the organization,” Bohm said. “It’s going to be a lot of fun. Excited to see the Citizens Bank packed out.”
