RB1: Melvin Gordon, Denver Broncos ($6,400)

Melvin Gordon looked like the obvious starter for the Denver Broncos last week, leading the Denver backfield in snaps, touches, and yards. He ended up with a pretty decent fantasy day as well, finishing as a top-25 back.

This week, Gordon gets a dream matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers’ 25th-ranked run defense who just got gashed up and down by both Cleveland backs. If Gordon can maintain a stranglehold on Denver’s backfield, he should be a borderline elite option for our lineup.

RB2: Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots ($6,000)

Rhamondre Stevenson was already very slowly taking over New England’s backfield. Now, with Damien Harris nursing a hamstring injury, the path to elite fantasy production is wide open and right in front of Stevenson. He answered the call with a 25-161 game last week.

Stevenson takes on Cleveland, who has been a bottom-five worst run defense in the NFL. A good matchup combined with hopefully elite usage makes Stevenson a strong option who will likely outperform what he costs in DraftKings.
