Mariners utility man Adam Frazier to move on to Baltimore Orioles

Frazier had one season with the Seattle Mariners helping where he could during their fantastic run. In 156 games, mostly at second base, Frazier slashed .313/.353/.375 with an OPS of .728. He hit 22 doubles, four triples, three home runs, 61 runs scored, and 42 RBI.

On defense, while he didn’t have a defensive run saved at second base, he had two while patrolling left and right field.

Frazier was a definite scrappy player who could grind out plays for the Mariners.

The Mariners have several young players under team control that could find equal success in the super utility position with an emphasis on second base. Frazier’s performance in 2022 makes him worthy of a more significant contract which may put him out of reach for a return to the Mariners.

Frazier could find a good fit with the Cleveland Guardians, Colorado Rockies, or Baltimore Orioles.
