One of the most surprising teams of the 2022 season has been the UCLA Bruins. They were 6-0 on the year, and plenty of credit can be given to quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

The Bruins were on a bye this week, but they were coming off of a huge 42-32 victory over the then-No. 11-ranked Utah Utes. Thompson Robinson completed 18-of-23 passes for 299 yards and four touchdowns while throwing one interception. Thompson-Robinson also ran for a touchdown in that game.

On the season, Thompson-Robinson recorded 1, 520 passing yards, 15 passing touchdowns and two interceptions on a 74.8 completion percentage. Thompson-Robinson also ran for 231 yards and four touchdowns on 42 carries.

Thompson-Robinson and the Bruins return in Week 8, where they take on the Oregon Ducks.

Caleb Williams made the jump from Oklahoma to USC this season, and he has played lights out for the Trojans this season. In Week 7, Williams gave it his all against the No. 20 Utah Utes, but the team ended up losing 43-42, their first of the season.

In the game, Williams completed 25-of-42 pass attempts for 381 yards and five touchdowns, while picking up 57 rushing yards on eight carries.

Entering Week 7, Williams had compiled a 64.9 completion percentage, 1,590 passing yards, 14 passing touchdowns, one interception, 178 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns.

Williams and the Trojans have a bye next week, but return to take on the Arizona Wildcats on Oct. 29.
