1. Top Fantasy Football Pickups For Week 7 – Baltimore Ravens RB Kenyan Drake

An intriguing opportunity to add a starting running back may have emerged in Baltimore, which is one of the most run-centric offenses in football. J.K. Dobbins was barely a factor in the Ravens’ game plan, carrying just seven times for 15 yards in a loss to the New York Giants, as head coach John Harbaugh revealed after the game that Dobbins’ surgically repaired knee is still giving him issues.

The bulk of the snaps went to Kenyan Drake, who responded nicely with 10 carries for 119 yards and a touchdown. Drake showcased some of his signature burst with a 30-yard touchdown scamper in the second quarter as one of four carries that went for at least 20 yards.

There will always be plenty of carries to go around in Baltimore as both Dobbins and Lamar Jackson will get their runs. The opportunity here lies in the issues with Dobbins’ knee, which could lead to some of his workload going to Drake, who has shown the ability to be a lead back in the past.

There is a huge window to get in on Drake, who entered the week rostered in just four percent of Yahoo leagues, as the potential new lead back in a run-heavy offense. Teams in need of running back help should pounce on Drake as the week’s top pickup.
