Quarterback Dak Prescott returned from injury, and led the Dallas Cowboys to victory. Skip Bayless and Cowboys fans reacted to the Week 7 win over the Detroit Lions.

There was good news throughout the week for Dallas, as quarterback Dak Prescott was set to return for the first time since he suffered a right thumb fracture in the season-opener. Cooper Rush gave it his all in his absence, leading the Dallas Cowboys to four wins in his five starts. But, it was Prescott’s time to return to lead his offense, as they took on the Detroit Lions.

While there was some rust in Prescott’s game, he was able to lead the Cowboys to a 24-6 victory to improve Dallas’ record to 5-2 on the year.

There were thoughts from Prescott’s first game back in six weeks, including from Cowboys fan and FOX Sports’ Skip Bayless.

Again, it was far from the perfect game from Prescott. Bayless was Prescott’s harshest critic, as you could tell from the tweets above.

In the first half, Prescott and the Cowboys had to punt the ball back to the Lions in their first two drives before leading the team to a 12-play drive that ended with a 22-yard field goal by Brett Maher.

Prescott accounted for just one touchdown on the game, and it happened with under two minutes remaining in regulation, as he connected with tight end Peyton Hendershot, extending Dallas’ lead to 24-6.

For Dallas, the win came in part to the defense pressure Jared Goff, who was sacked five times for a loss of 33 yards, and threw two interceptions.

Prescott finished his first game back from his thumb injury completing 19-of-25 pass attempts for 207 yards and a touchdown.

Now, Prescott will look to lead the Cowboys to a win next week when they take on the Chicago Bears.
