It’s Week 8 of the fantasy football season, and there are several exploitable matchups this week. Let’s take a look at the best matchups of the week.

The fantasy football regular season has reached its halfway point. Whether you’re crushing your division, fighting for a playoff spot, or flat out stinking, you could use an exploitable matchup this week to have the advantage over your opponent. If you play DFS, favorable matchups are usually targets in lineups. With that being said, let’s get into this week’s top matchups.

Best matchups for fantasy football Week 8

5. Michael Pittman Jr., WR, Indianapolis Colts (vs. WAS)

Michael Pittman Jr. has been one of the focal points of a surprisingly-high volume Colts passing attack. He’s had at least six targets in every game he’s played this season, and he’s coming off of a 6-58 game against Tennessee. His consistency bodes well for his fantasy outlook, even with Jonathan Taylor still being one of the focal points of the offense and Parris Campbell suddenly emerging as a high-volume option. The Colts throw enough to support multiple fantasy-relevant receivers.

Aside from shutting down the Green Bay Packers (which apparently isn’t hard to do these days), the Washington Commanders have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to wide receivers. If both teams are forced to throw a lot, this could become a high-scoring fantasy day for quite a few players on each team. The Commanders’ leaky secondary provides a solid matchup for Pittman in what will likely be another pass-happy affair.
