3. Alex Bregman will be named World Series MVP

Bregman has only had one postseason game so far this year (ALCS Game 1) where he hasn’t registered at least one hit. Overall, he’s 10-for-30 (.300) this postseason with a pair of homers and seven RBI. He’s also struck out just twice while drawing two walks as well.

Yordan Alvarez may have grabbed plenty of the headlines this postseason for the Astros, but Bregman has been a big factor in Houston’s dominance as well. He will continue that dominance against Philadelphia, erasing his overall struggles at the plate in his three previous World Series appearances where he has slashed just .188/.247/.400.

While Bregman may have not posted a high batting average in his three previous World Series appearances, he has flashed power, belting five home runs in his 80 at-bats in the Fall Classic.

Look for Bregman to hit for average and power against the Phillies, including sealing the World Series victory for the Astros with a momentum-changing, late-inning hit in Game 6 in Houston. That hit will not only give the Astros the title, but also be the icing on the cake of a fantastic series for Bregman.
