RB1: Josh Jacobs, Las Vegas Raiders ($7,500)

Josh Jacobs went from being drafted as a low-end RB2 in August to becoming a top-five fantasy running back who has flat-out carried some teams this season. He is the overall RB4 in PPR leagues and has been shredding teams regardless of the matchup. The Raiders’ offense will continue to run through him since it’s working so well.

Jacobs takes on the New Orleans Saints this week, whose run defense isn’t as stout as it has been known to be in years past. Regardless, Jacobs is as hot as any other running back right now, and the Saints have been playing mediocre football. He should put up elite numbers this week.

RB2: Raheem Mostert, Miami Dolphins ($5,900)

Another running back who has surprised this season is Raheem Mostert, who has risen to become Miami’s bellcow running back. He’s averaged 17.8 touches over the last four games and has made Chase Edmonds a droppable player in season-long leagues. He’s been the RB24 so far on the year, which is good compared to where he was drafted, if at all.

Mostert gets a dream matchup against the Detroit Lions’ second-worst run defense which get shredded weekly; most recently by the Dallas Cowboys last week. Mostert has top-15 upside this week and he’s a safe RB2 in this lineup behind Jacobs.
