1. NFL Teams That Should Be On Upset Alert In Week 8 – Las Vegas Raiders

It looks like things are starting to stabilize for the Raiders after their 0-3 start to the season. Las Vegas has gone 2-1 over its past three games, a stretch that has included its bye, by relying more on the running game to overpower opponents.

Sunday’s victory over the Houston Texans saw a heavy reliance on Josh Jacobs, who carried the rock 20 times for 143 yards and found the end zone three times in a 38-20 win. This has been an important development for Las Vegas, which needs wins to stay alive in the playoff race of a deep AFC.

The Raiders are set to hit the road on Sunday and opened as two-point favorites against the struggling New Orleans Saints, who lost a barn-burner in the desert on Thursday night in Week 7. The mini-bye did gave New Orleans a chance to rest up and have a bit of extra prep time for the Raiders, who don’t always fare well when traveling East.

There is a lot of talent on the Saints roster as well and they probably should be better than their 2-5 record. Las Vegas will need to make sure not to take New Orleans lightly if they hope to get a critical win and improve to 3-4 on the season.
