Bryce Young, Alabama

One college quarterback that caught everyone’s attention in 2021 was Bryce Young.

In his very first season as starting quarterback for the Alabama Crimson Tide, Young threw for 4,872 yards, 47 touchdowns, and seven interceptions while completing 66.7 percent of his passes. With these numbers, Young won the Heisman Trophy.

This year, Young may not have put up lauded stats like the year prior, but he did show off why he should be in consideration to be the first quarterback selected. Even after his missed time due to a sprain to his right shoulder, he returned to form against the Tennessee Volunteers in an incredible Week 7 matchup.

Young posted 1,906 yards, 18 touchdowns and three interceptions while running for 137 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries.

Much like Stroud, the Giants will have to trade up near the top of the first-round to select Young. That’s a fact. Again, if Schoen and Daboll are convinced that Young can be the face of the franchise, they’ll have to make calls to teams at the top of the draft board.
