Bryan Bresee. 9. player. 10. . DL. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans hold two first-round picks in the 2023 NFL Draft, and right now, both of those picks would be in the top 10. After getting a franchise quarterback at No. 2 overall, the head to the defense here at No. 9, bringing in an elite defensive lineman in Clemson’s Bryan Bresee.

Houston has a lot of holes so they could go a number of different directions with this pick, but Bresee is a good one. The Texans have a long way to go until they are competitive in the AFC South, but with Bryce Young and Bryan Bresee, they are setting the foundation for success.

Seattle Seahawks. Myles Murphy. 10. player. 36. . Edge

Closing out the top 10 in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft is the Seattle Seahawks, one of the best stories in the NFL this season. After trading away star quarterback Russell Wilson, Seattle will hold two first-round picks, and at No. 10, they can stay away from the quarterback spot thanks to the strong play of Geno Smith.

Instead,  they get an elite edge rusher in Myles Murphy, who could end up being a top-5 pick when all is said and done. Pete Carroll and staff made the right move getting rid of Wilson, and now have a ton of picks, and money to play with this offseason.
