With Houston pitching throwing a combined no-hitter, it’s hard to put just one Phillies hitter to put on this list. However, Realmuto was the poster child for Philadelphia’s frustration at the plate in Game 4.

In his first three at-bats, Realmuto struck out all three times, seeing just 12 total pitches in those three at-bats. The veteran catcher is now 3-for-15 in the Fall Classic, striking out eight times in the process.

Realmuto also allowed Houston’s Yuli Gurriel to establish a piece of World Series history on Wednesday, adding to what was a rough night all around for the 31-year-old backstop.

Additionally, Realmuto made the final out of the game, grounding out to third to secure Houston’s no-hitter.

There are plenty of things that have gone right for the Phillies in the World Series. However, outside of his home run that changed the course of Game 1, Realmuto has done little to contribute to the cause. Philadelphia needs that to change if Realmuto is going to stay in the heart of the lineup as the World Series becomes a best-of-three chase for the title.
