3. DeSean Jackson – Michael Vick (2010 – 2013)

Next up is perhaps the most physically talented combo on the list. After spending more than a year in federal prison due to involvement in a dogfighting ring, Michael Vick signed with the Philadelphia Eagles at the tail end of Donovan McNabb’s career. There, he joined a second-round draft pick, and one of the fastest players in the league, DeSean Jackson. Individually, they were two of the most dangerous offensive threats in the NFL, and together, they made up one of the best Eagles combos in the storied franchise’s history.

During their first season together in 2010, Jackson had 1,056 receiving yards and 6 TDs. Productivity decreased for each of the next two seasons. And in 2013, new coach Chip Kelly announced that Michael Vick would need to compete for the starting job against Nick Foles and Matt Barkley. Vick beat the two younger QBs out for the role but went down with a hamstring injury midway through the season. Despite having multiple QBs slinging the ball his way, DeSean Jackson finished the season with 1,332 receiving yards (second-most in franchise history) and 9 TDs.

It’s a shame that these two talents weren’t together during Michael Vick’s prime because it could’ve been one of the most unstoppable duos in NFL history.
