1. NFL Teams That Should Be On Upset Alert In Week 9 – Los Angeles Chargers

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen the Chargers in action due to their Week 8 bye. Los Angeles didn’t look great in their last game, a loss to the Seattle Seahawks at SoFi Stadium, and suffered another big blow as Mike Williams suffered an ankle injury that will knock him out for a few weeks.

It is hard to get a good read on the Chargers, who are 4-3 on the season and should be positioned well to make a playoff run in the loaded AFC. The sheer volume of injuries that Los Angeles has encountered have really damaged the roster, making it far from a sure thing that Justin Herbert will make his postseason debut in January.

The Chargers are set to hit the road in Week 9 as they fly across the country to take on the 4-4 Atlanta Falcons, who are leading the NFC South. Sports books have set Los Angeles as three point favorites in this game, but this contest is very dangerous for a Chargers’ team that doesn’t usually play well in the early time slot after flying East.

Los Angeles struggled against the Cleveland Browns in a similar position earlier this season, falling behind early before rallying for a two-point win late. The Falcons are also a solid team that hasn’t been scared of the big moments this season, making this contest a more difficult one than it would appear for the visitors.
