The Eagles come into this one undefeated in 2022 and the sure-favorite in the NFC at the midway point of the season. The Texans, meanwhile, could not be further from that. They are 1-5-1 with their only win coming over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
For what it’s worth, the Jags kept the Eagles close in early October, losing by eight.
On short rest, anything can happen, but the Eagles are far better than the Texans. Houston will also be without Brandin Cooks who is frustrated after not getting traded by the team at the trade deadline this season.
The biggest story for the Eagles might be that Eagles fans may not even tune into this one. The city of Philadelphia will have its focus primarily on the World Series tonight, though diehard fans are sure to double-screen this one.
