10 RB sleepers to target for fantasy football Week 9
4. Jamaal Williams, Detroit Lions
With D’Andre Swift’s continuous injury issues, Jamaal Williams continues to dominate in Detroit. He’s seen over 10 carries in every game this year, and ranks as the overall RB15 in fantasy scoring. He’s been a solid option for drafters who took a flier on him late.
Williams will continue to be the Lions’ de-facto starting running back, and has a great matchup against the Packers’ fourth-worst run defense. He’s a lock at the RB2 spot and should be a solid option in DFS lineups as well.
3. Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons
With Cordarrelle Patterson missing time, Tyler Allgeier has operated as the 1A in a committee with himself and Caleb Huntley. Both have looked solid in a run-first Atlanta Falcons team. Allgeier has seen at least 10 carries in all but one game this season, keeping him a higher-floor play.
Allgeier takes on the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9 that allow the second-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season. He’s a solid FLEX option this week, and his running mate Huntley is an interesting DFS play as well.
