3 free agent targets to help Phillies win the World Series next year

Philadelphia Phillies free agent target: Trea Turner
Nobody should expect the Phillies to sign Eovaldi and Rodon. It’s one or the other. They will probably only attack the free agent market for one starting pitcher. What about the bats?
Trea Turner will be sitting out there. A former teammate of Bryce Harper’s in Washington, the Phillies shouldn’t shy away from changing their plans with rookie Bryson Stott.
Here’s where Turner fits in with the 2023 Phillies: he bats leadoff and plays shortstop. It’s pretty simple. The Phillies would have a more legitimate leadoff hitter than Kyle Schwarber whom they can drop in the lineup to a more appropriate spot where he can hit some dingers. Turner’s speed is a major threat and something any team can benefit from adding.
The Phillies do have an option on Jean Segura for next season which isn’t the easiest of choices to make. Segura has been good for the Phillies. Turner has been better for the Washington Nationals and most recently the Los Angeles Dodgers. The best thing to do would be to stack the roster and have Stott be a part-time player. Alternatively, Stott moves to second base and the Phillies invest the money they would have paid to Segura into Turner.
The Phillies offense is already a weapon. Why not sharpen it?
