When it comes to which quarterback had the best performance of the week, it has to be Oregon’s Bo Nix. Granted, it came against the one-win Colorado Buffaloes, but still. The quarterback play from some of the top names in the nation were not exactly fantastic.

There was a moment where the old Bo Nix made a special appearance, but besides that, he was on fire. In fact, he did his best Christian McCaffrey impression by scoring a passing touchdown, a rushing touchdown, and a receiving touchdown in a single game. Not bad.

On the day, Nix threw for 274 yards and two touchdowns while completing 20-of-24 pass attempts, ran for 16 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries, and caught an 18-yard touchdown pass from running back Bucky Irving.

Nix has accumulated 2,495 passing yards, 24 passing touchdowns, and just two interceptions while owning a 73.3 completion percentage this season. If the top quarterbacks ranked ahead of him do not impress, and Oregon makes their way to the Pac-12 Championship Game, Nix could honestly win the Heisman. He is playing on a ridiculous level right now, and he can’t be ignored.

It was yet another great game for USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams.

The Trojans competed in the late slate of games on Saturday, taking on the California Golden Bears. On paper, it should have been an easy day at LA Memorial Coliseum, but California put up a fight. The Golden Bears even cut their deficit to 34-27 in the fourth quarter, but Williams ended the attempted comeback on a two-yard touchdown pass from Williams to Lake McRee.

Williams threw for 360 yards and four touchdowns while completing 26-of-41 pass attempts. He then ran for 38 yards and a touchdown on seven carries.
