3. David Montgomery & Khalil Herbert, RBs, Chicago Bears (vs. DET)

On the flip side of the Swift-Williams tandem is the tandem on the other team: David Montgomery and Khalil Herbert.

The Chicago Bears have suddenly become the best running team in the NFL, largely due to Justin Fields. But the running back duo of Montgomery and Herbert has been pretty solid as of late, forming a near-committee. It can be frustrating for fantasy purposes, but both backs have been startable options.

This week, the Bears get a dream matchup against the Detroit Lions’ 31st-ranked run defense. Both of these running backs have top-20 upside, assuming that Fields doesn’t run for 178 yards again.

Fire them up with confidence in lineups and any DFS plays as well.
