Cole Kmet: Touchdown Machine?

After failing to record a touchdown in his previous 28 games, Kmet has now gotten into the end zone three times in the past two games. On Sunday, he had five receptions for 41 yards and two touchdowns against the Miami Dolphins.

The 2020 second-round pick has been able to produce in Chicago’s offense. Last season, he was 12th among tight ends in both receptions (60) and receiving yards (612). However, his zero touchdowns sunk his fantasy value.

The Bears’ offense has been rolling as of late. They have 29+ points in three consecutive games, and it has led to a significant boost in production for Kmet.

Over the next two weeks, the Bears have a good chance to maintain their momentum. Their next two opponents are the Lions and Falcons. The Lions’ defense is giving up a league-high 29.3 points per game. The Falcons’ defense is giving up 25.0 points per game, which is tied for the sixth-most in the NFL.

Kmet is an excellent short-term streaming option with long-term potential.
