1. QB Justin Fields, Chicago Bears

Rostered: 47.4%

Fields makes his second consecutive appearance on this list. After putting up impressive production in Weeks 5 to 8, he topped himself by having the best fantasy performance of his career last week. Fields completed 17 out of 28 passes for 123 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 178 yards and a touchdown. As a result, he finished with a career-high 42.72 fantasy points.

Fields is building some strong momentum. Since Week 5, he leads all quarterbacks in fantasy points. In addition, he has finished as a top-five fantasy quarterback in three straight weeks. This season, the Bears have shown little reluctance to utilize Fields as a runner, and he has benefited from it. As of Monday morning, he is leading all NFL quarterbacks in rushing attempts (91) and rushing yards (602). Over a full season, he is on pace for 1,137 rushing yards, which would be the second-most ever by a quarterback in a single season.

During this recent run, the biggest difference for Fields has been his passing numbers. In his first four games, he threw for two touchdowns and four interceptions. In his last four games, he threw for seven touchdowns and two interceptions.

Moving forward, Fields’s rushing ability gives him a higher ceiling and floor than most fantasy quarterbacks. He should be rostered in all leagues. In addition, he has two favorable matchups coming up; his next two scheduled opponents are the Detroit Lions and Atlanta Falcons.

Next. Sorry, the Packers won’t be blowing it up anytime soon. dark
