2. Young Pacers are thriving amid trade rumors

When a team is rebuilding, every transaction is principal to the franchise’s growth. When the Pacers acquired Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield from the Sacramento Kings, they took a giant leap in the right direction. For the first time since Victor Oladipo, the Pacers have a star to build around and a star who fully embraces being the man in Indianapolis.

Haliburton leads the team in scoring (21.7 points per game), assists (9.7 per game), and steals (1.7 per game).  In addition to Haliburton, there have been a couple of other reasons why the Pacers have been exciting to watch so far this year.

Just like my colleague Nicolas Kyle Pring wrote about a couple of days ago, Mathurin is on pace to do what very few have been able to do as a rookie.
